I bought a used Canon A-1 a few years ago for one specific purpose; photographing my wife's artwork for record. I was schooled as a photographer many years ago, but never worked much in the profession, and consider myself an educated amateur. Owning the A-1 made me realize what a magnificent machine it is, and I decided to give it wider use. In short, using your site had allowed me to make intelligent choices of auxiliary lenses, and an MA motor drive, in conditions as superb as the camera. Your reworking of the motor drive operating manual, especially, has been invaluable. An excellent site in all respects. Many thanks for your efforts.

A great site. Easy to navigate and mercifuly free of pop-ups and scripts. Have just been given a Canon F1n for Christmas and have found it (the site) very informative. Only one suggestion (If it doesn't infringe copyright law) - do you think there is way publish reprints of some lens tests from other reliable sources which would be most useful to (new) classic camera owners. Keep up with the most EXCELLENT work and many thanks. PJH

Hello, you have indeed developed an AWESOME Nikon web resources here ! I think those Nikon's executives working at the air-cond. offices should come here and learnt how to revamp their next official website in the future. I just couldn't hide my excitement after finding out this place. I am an American Japanese but I can't speak Japanese at all (shame..), but I still think the Nikon F2, a camera series that is way ahead of my time, was one hell of a SLR camera. It is a true classic and need a GREAT website such as yours help to illustrate what is so great about this camera. Thank you so much for having such a wonderful website. I appreciate all the time you must have put into constructing it. I have used Nikons for over twenty years, and own several F's. Your site has served as reference for me countless times. If it wasn't for people like you, it would be very difficult to get info on old Nikon stuff on the web, and we all know how crappy Nikon's website is.
