Another problem may occur due to the inappropriate use of images on the Internet. This bring about technical problems. Images may be too large or built badly. Large images have a big file memory and take a great amount of time to access. Obviously, users who access the site with large images will pay extra money or spend more time in down loading documents.

Resolution

Badly built images is one of the technical problems when presenting graphics and images. Sometimes images contain the right information but sometimes the resolution is not successful and users may not gain from this. High resolution is actually the best way to present graphic images on the Internet. It illustrates information more clearly and is more exactly recognisable. However, high resolution image always have big memory files.

Low resolution images are actually the easiest ones to down load if they are in a small memory file. In many circumstances, low resolution images are not welcome by users. The reason is because low resolution images might not be interesting and are hard to recognise. The size of the pixels on low resolution images are larger and sometimes the physical imageries distorted. Large images combined with low resolution should never take place on the Internet; in fact, this is the worst way to use images. They will not deliver information. Instead they will make the site look disorganised. Traditionally colour is used as a background of the document. Gray is the popular one. Sometimes users prefer other colours too, to create mood and the concept of the page. Other than using colour, image backgrounds are also becoming popular. The background image usually is used on graphical sites.

Inappropriate use of background images also may develop the same problem as with display images. Down loading is the major problem if images are too large and palce in a big memory file.

If the scheme colour of the background image and the text are almost the same both of these elements will blend together. Without contrast between background image and texts, the document will be hard to read. Normally, texts are more dominant than background images.

Unpleasing Images

It is not easy to catogorize what are better image or unpleasing images. Unpleasing visuals may determined through the response from the users either it give them fun or they may be boring.
