Changing the viewfinder
Five
interchangeable viewfinders are available for the Nikon F: Eye-Level, Waist-Level,
6X Focusing, Action and Photomic FTN. The Photomic FTN finder incorporates the centerweighted
thru-the-lens metering system and couples to shutter speed and aperture controls.
With the exception of the Photomic FTN, all viewfinders are interchanged in the same
way.
To remove the finder, press the finder release button on the back of the camera body.
The finder snaps loose and can be lifted out! To attach a viewBinder, set it in position
and press down gently until it clicks into place.
