While the earlier version of this lens is supplied with a metal hood for you to mount on the lens and reverse and kept it while not in use. Lazy to take a pix and thus use a illustration found to demonstrate, the lens on the grey scale image is NOT the lens featured, though the process of mounting and storing is the same.
