UV-Nikkor 105mm f/4.5

"UV" stands for Ultra Violet, This lens can see not only the wavelength perceivable by human eyes but also the ultra-violet rays over 200nm. A special filter is provide for ultra-violet photography, while for normal shooting, a L37C and L39 filter are also provided.

I have no experience nor handle this lens before, can't discuss much, only thing that caught my attention is its price tag - mysteriously being adjusted nearly 4 folds since its launched, can anyone tell me why ?

And this is the purpose of putting this page up - just to resolve my curiosity.
