It used to show a few LP Negrn images at this page but at the request of the contributor, I have to delete the images from this site as a sign a respect. Well, the images of the previous shown images of the two mini-statues have a calling price of 500,000 bahts EACH.

Recently, via a contact through our website, a seasoned amulets trader phoned and met up with uncle Wichien in Hadyai and offered him some amulets which he intended to dispose off. If you think the prices for the LP Negrn statues above is ridiculous - then there is no point showing you the rest - because these two mini-statues are just the CHEAPEST prized items among the whole batch of amulets he tried to show uncle Wichien. The remaining high quality images were all SOOMDEJ and each of them has a calling price ranging from 1 million Bahts to 5 million Thai Bahts !

Well, I am not questioning the the logic why the respective prices of these amulets were being quoted so high simply because firstly, I am not an expert in able to provide a respectable grading for each of them and; next, neither I am not one of them who is willing to pay such a price but rather, I felt a little upset because Buddhist Amulets are fast turning into a commodity now. So, it is just a matter of a decision between the mind and the heart. And if any of you letting the heart overwhelm your senses, just read below for a short personal advice from me: -

IF you can afford to do so, it can be very easy to buy in such a piece but you may find it extremely difficult to find someone as crazy as you to dispose it off later !

So, if you are still thinking of that little piece of amulet is within your financial allocation to make a purchase with such a @##*$**@!! $$$ amount - (well, in the first place, that is your money which I am not suppose to tell you how to spend them...) - but you ought to understand UNLESS you are thinking just to acquire ONE GOOD ONE for yourself to use but you are NOT suppose to relate it as an investment. Why ? Because one day (when you regain your senses) you may just end up with the scenario mentioned earlier. Well, even if you are toying with such an idea to proceed - an alternate not-so-painful way is - sell whatever that are not-so-sentimental and just go and get the one that you'd really like to own because you have only one neck which you need to take good care of.

Actually, I am strongly against the idea of relating all these as an investment.

So, assuming if you have committed and not thinking of using it for yourself seriously, most of the time, whatever you have bought may just end up "sitting" quietly inside your safety box. Come to think of it, let us go back one step - WHY don't just save your hard-earned cash and give your family/gal friend a REAL treat to some places like Thailand instead ? You can stay in a 6-stars hotel, chartered a limousine to bring your family around, you can enjoy every meals with lobsters or roasted piglets, a good herbal spa everyday, visit a few temples if you like to, donate a few thousands bahts if you can etc. - you may not even have to spend 1/5 of that amount. If you "bermati-mati" (dying in English ) wants to have a LP Negrn, okay, okay - I will get you one reasonably aged LP Negrn like what I am using now (also at 1/5 of that price, even though I don't have the culture to trade amulets for $$) and I will guarantee donate half of that amount you paid for charity works under your name ! Lastly, just remember, the 1/2 million Bahts you intend to cough out will not always guarantee or ensure you be getting richer & more famous than what you are currently enjoying ...

No one likes to read this: We install/use religious images because we are weak mentally. It is just like we are leaning on to something that we think that may be able to help patching an empty slot in our hearts while boosting our self-confidence along the way. So, it depends on individual priorities, for someone like me, I may be working damn bloody hard everyday trying to achieve an individual interpretation of a perfect state in life for me and my family called: freedom from time, mental peacefulness, physical harmonies & lastly, lots of money (haha.. like many common friends I am just an ordinary life form ... ). At times (especially when I am down) I do hope the intangibles up there can give me a hand to fill up whatever vacuum deem necessary in aiding me to face the challenges - so ? admittedly, I think I should categorize myself as a mentally weaker group of amulet users. Thus, I am not against the idea and I am also a believer. But what I am trying to highlight to you is, paying for such a high price tag just for something that we think it may work in exchange for a little of mental comfort - that is simply not the right way to do it.

So, just stay cool brother, okay ?..
