In 1994, Nikon 28Ti Quartz Date model which came with a wideangle Nikkor 28mm f/2.8 lense, joined the Nikon 1993's 35Ti Quartz Date as the twin of Nikon's elite class of compact cameras. These two Nikon classic compact camera models feature sophisticated design and have been crafted with a tough titanium body chassis. Each of the Nikkor 35mm f/2.8 & the 28mm f/2.8 on the respective models employed with a symmetrical design, Nikon Integrated Coating and a built-in lens shutter where both were specially designed by a team of optical designers to deliver sharpness, clarity and colour performance not easily found in any compact cameras. Further, both cameras have been equipped with a 6 segments 3D Matrix meter, multiple choices of exposure modes, built-in flash capability, data imprinting and a truly unique analogue display system.

The automatic focusing system offers a precision that's simply a class on its own among active-infrared autofocus compact cameras. And a set of custom functions are provided to enable user to setup the camera on personal preferences. These two lovely Nikon compact may not packed with too many mind boggling features, but they are designed to be appreciated and last over time for personal creative photography, if not for professional use.
