The is the rear view of the first entry photo, which taken inside the compound of the Royal Palace. Visiting the Palace preferably select a sunny morning or toward the afternoon after 3 p.m. where the sunlight is more favorable for shooting pictures of brilliance of colors It opens twice daily from 8 a.m. to 11a.m and after session is from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. the entrance fees for local is approx. 50 cents (US) and for foreigner, US$-00 per head with additional US$-100 for still camera. Fair I should say - unlike the Royal Palace at Bangkok, some tour agencies slaughter foreign visitors for USD15-20-00 per head; come to think of it, the Yangon's Shwedagon Pagoda's USD5-00 is not that expensive afterall. Well, I don't mind to pay at reasonable rate but sometimes what I cannot stand it the attitude of the people guarding the place of interest, many of them lack proper training for courteous approach to foreigners. | NEXT |
