Soomdej /Soomdet WRK Pim Yai Niyom Ket Taklusom front view
I work for a European company as their Regional Sales Manager in Asia, which manufactures Industrial Printers. My job scope requires me to travel very regularly all over Asia (Korea, Taiwan, China, Japan, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia). I work alone in Asia, and I am responsible for setting up Countries Distributorship as well as giving Technical & Products training to all my Distributors. Since I travel very often on Thai Airlines, I prefer to stay in Bangkok on transit sometimes up to 2 weeks in a month, rather than returning to S'pore after every trip. During my stay in Bangkok, it gives me very good opportunity to scoop around looking for Soomdej/Somdet Toh amulets which I have been trained by an expert Thai teacher who has more than 40 years of experience & knowledge on the history of Soomdej/Somdet Toh amulets (my Archarn has more than 100 Pims in his collection).

I have always been interested in Somdej Toh Amulets since I was 10 years old and I got my 1st Somdej WRK Pim Yai 3 years ago from Wat Doi Suthep in Chiangmai for 900 baht. After that it never stop me from finding more and more Somdej Toh Amulets almost every month. Up to today, I have more than 40 Pims of Somdej WRK & BKP in my collection, with some of them in very good quality condition.

May Somdej Buddhacharn Toh bless all believer of his Amulets.

Thanks and best regards,

Soomdej /Soomdet WRK Pim Yai RAMA II period front view
The Phra Somdej Pim Yai on the left is made by Soomdej/Somdet Toh during Rama 2 period and is considered to be one of his earliest Soomdej Pim. This Pim was given to me by my Archarn when he accepted me as his student and hope that I can learn from this Pim on how to verify and differentiate the various period of Soomdej/Somdet WRK Amulets.

For your information, this Pim will be on the front page of the new book about Soomdej/Somdet Toh Amulets which is written by my Archarn and will be due for release in Thailand later this month (Nov 07). I will send you a copy once it is released and it also includes a write-up on the 1st Jatukam Amulet, a total of over 20 different Pims was made in the year 2411 (1868) by the Royal Family and all have been blessed by Somdej Buddhacharn Toh himself. A lot of information about the Jatukam now in the market saying the 1st Jatukam Amulet was made in 2530 (1987) is inaccurate.
The mentioned Jatukam Amulets will be compiled in another page.

Thanks and best regards,
