DISTAGON CF F/3.5 30MM

A FULL-FRAME fish-eye lens covering the entire 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 (6 x6 cm) format, with no visible light or quality fall-off. The lens captures surrounding subjects with corner-to-corner sharpness within a 180 degree field. The excellent correction of this lens results in outstanding sharpness, even at maximum aperture. General applications are for architectural, scientific, creative and specific photography.

DISTAGON CF F/4 40MM (FLE)

IN SPITE of the wide aperture, wide angle of view and long focal length of this lens, distortion has been kept at a remarkably low level - making this lens suitable even for critical architectural photography. The floating lens element (FLE) design enhances image quality at close range. The two floating front elements are moved by means of a secondary focusing ring with three click stops: infinity - 2m, 2m - 0.9m and 0.9m - 0.5m.. This lens is ideal for interior or architectural photography. Its broad angle of view are especially good for these kind of application. Though, have to be careful on its slight exaggerated perspective. The floating elements design opens up more photographic oppurtunities in close up photography without the compromised decrease in image quality.

DISTAGON CF F/4 50MM (FLE)

IN ALL WIDE-ANGLE LENSES for reflex cameras the distance between the rear lens element and the image plane is greater than the focal length. This applies also to the 50mm Distagon (FLE) lens. In spite of this , its extraordinary technical features ensure that the 50mm Distagon (FLE) lens has a remarkably good correction of all image aberrations. The floating lens element (FLE) design ensures good image quality right down to close-up shots. The four floating front elements are moved by means of a secondary focusing ring with four click stops. The following ranges are available: infinity - 4m , 4 - 1.2m, 1.2 - 0.8 and 0.8 - 0.5m. This lens is one of the most used lens of Hasselblad lens line. Generally, the wider angle of view compared with the standard 80mm and yet not as tricky to handle as the 40mm allows broader application. The New design with the FLE improved image quality considerbly in the close up range. Remain one of my favourite lens.

DISTAGON CF F/3.5 60MM

SPECIAL FEATURES of this lens are its compact design and relatively low weight. It is a good all-round wide-angle lens, but without a marked wide-angle effect. It can also be used as a standard lens, particularly when wide coverage is needed but only limited space is available. Somehow falls in between an "embarrassing" focal length, mid between the "standard" 80mm & the 50mm wideangle, lenses are expensive and most photographer tends to ignore this focal length. Despite that, I have to salute Hasselblad for retaining this lens within the lens line (who knows, there are people out there, and everybody has their favourite lens). If only lenses are make more economical...
