Wat Keschaiyo (Wat Chaiyo Worawihan) Ang Thong (Anthong) Province, Thailand.

***

The refurbished Wat Keschaiyo has a typical design of any modern Thai temple with a prominent viham (main hall) as its center piece. Inside, a tall, a huge structure of seated, peaceful looking Lord Buddha (Phra Maha Phuttha Phim) image in the attitude of meditation, positons at the center of the viham. The smaller image which I was told is an "original" created by the famous Toh of Wat Rakang. Nearby & external structures have also been upgraded in its facilities but I am glad whoever that has been assigned in replenishing the new has well preserving the original state of the temple at the rear section of the main hall (see previous page). These photos are taken during the afternoon, lighting was not particularly favourable for photography but I think they are acceptable for anyone of you to have a clue how the new Wat Keschaiyo looks like at the present state.
