DEDICATED FLASH UNITS
Users have a choice of three dedicated flash units for the EOS 630: Canon Speedlites 420EZ and 300EZ, and the Macro Ring Lite ML-3. All flash units feature a built-in AF auxiliary light that permits autofocusing in dark conditions. Features are listed below. However, the top sync speed of the EOS630 was strangely being "downgraded" to normal level as compared to earlier EOS620, where the EOS620 offers a higher sync speed at 1/250sec.

Technical Back E Data imprint with the Technical Back E requires the use of color film at speeds of ISO 100 or higher for clear data registration. For monochrome film or film slower than ISO 100, contact the nearest Canon Service Facility for adjustment.
