Nikon F Olive

NIKON F camera with nikkor auto 50mm f1.4 lens. It is in OLIVE PAINT finish. It was painted by professional worker, cost 50,000YEN, in JAPAN. It is a Masterpiece, really an artware!!! It comes with the cap in oliver paint too!

It is also interesting to note Canon did has a similar model with their original Canon F1 OLIVE. The model by Canon has been produced with a total of approx. 2000 units. The color of the Canon OD F1 was quite distinctive, it reminds me with the Leica R3 Safari introduced much later in the '70 (5,000 Units sold with matching 50mm f/2, 50mm f/1.4, 28mm f/2.8 and 180mm f/4.0), which has the same "Khaki" colour.

While the Canon as well as the Leica R3 Safari were official production model, please take note this Nikon F OLIVE may not be the official production model. But the craftmanship certainly deserves a look into it. Probably Nikon can use it as a guide for any future Limited Production model.
