Classic SLRs Series :
Olympus OM Power Winder 2 Olympus Winder 2 is designed to enhance the functionality of the OM System 35mm SLR camera by providing it with automatic film winding for single-frame (wind-on time - approx. 0.3 sec.) as well as sequential shooting (filming rate - 2.5 frames per sec.). The Device not only frees the photographer from distracting manual film winding, but also enables to follow fast-moving subjects without removing his eye from the viewfinder. It is alternative source for more economical entry into motor driven photography.
This manual uses the OM-2 in the illustrations but, of course, the Rapid Winder 2 can be attached to and operated with the OM-1(n), OM-10, OM-2n Spot Program or OM-30 etc cameras in exactly the same manner. Other than performing automatic film advancing, the Power Winder can also be used for certain specialised task such as remote control. For various OM System motor drive accessories, refer also to the Manual for Motor Drive Group.
