One of the great and immensely popular Thai Guru Monk image worshiped among the many Malaysian, Singaporean Chinese is the late Luang Phor Thuad - probably the most famous icon emerged from the Southern part of Thailand. This section provides a rare glimpse of a few images created from the earlier days from a few temples that are closely associated with this image: - Wat Phra Koh, Wat Sai Kow and Wat Changhai at the southern provinces of Thailand. In particularly, uncle Wichien mentioned he has some sentimental reasons for the LP Thuad from Wat Phra Koh as he was young, he was involved in the production of the amulets assigned by his late master Archan Ghong of Songkra to help the temple as well, the batch of amulets were being blessed by more than 60 invited heads of temples from all over Thailand. That as the reason why he has so many of them in his collection (but now, he has only last 5 - 6 pieces left). Note: The last unit has been applied with some ritual wax, it was a gift to me. Anyway, the first row of this page shown are very rare items now which make them highly collectible.
