Leica R6.2 Singapore's 30th Anniversary of Independence gold plated camera was specially
made to celebrate Singapore's independence (1965-1995).
It comes with Summilux-R 1.4/50mm lens and only 150 units were produced. The whole
camera set was casted with 24K yellow gold.
The top plate engraved“30, My Singapore, My Home”and the serial number; the back
of the camera also has been engraved with “Republic of Singapore 1965-1995” and the
national totem of Singapore.
The camera body was decorated with red snake-skined decor. It came with a wooden
case. In the L&H Auction, it has a suggestive hammer price of HK$141,000-00.
