Leica M6 black paint
0.85X, pre-M6TTL model,
approx. 1998/1999
Earlier we have shown
a Leica M6 Black 0.72X with only a "M6" engraving. Not particularly sure if it was a pre-M6TTL production model.
But here is a Leica M6 Black, Pre-TTL model with 0.85X finder. Presumably rare, as
according to reference only maybe 800 sets were ever made before production shifted
to the M6 TTL 0.85x. You can safely quote it was among the last few batches of the
non-TTL Leica M6 produced towards the end of the product cycle for standard M6 series.
This rare collectible Leica M6 has an auction price of USD1,750-00*.
