Nikon Non-Ai 135mm f/2.0 Nikkor telephoto lens
As opposed to general belief where this lens was only available in Ai-Spec, this lens does has an non-AI version which was introduced in December, 1975. The 135mm f/2 Nikkor is "fastest" lens at the very popular 135mm focal length. The fast f/2.0 maximum aperture has made it one of the firm favourite among professional photographers for covering dimly-lit surrounding or action packed events, indoors and outdoors aliked. Complementing the excellent lens speed is its superb handing which is ideal for hand-held operation. The 135mm f/2 has a lens construction of 6 elements in 4 groups and its optical formula lieterally remained unchange even when the Ai-S version was introduced during late 1981. The superior design of this lens offers extreely high optical performance under a wide range of operating conditions, including wide-open at f/2.0 or close-focused to a remarkable 1.3m (4.5 ft).
