This Cambodian temple was a mixed between the renovated Sraa Chok Pagoda and the Second temple at the earlier page - because it is going through a mid phase of restoration. Probably many of the Cambodian temples are going through phases of re-construction. This Wat was located at the most busy street of Phnom Penh and probably was given by the governing Buddhist council ahead of others. So, the above photo was the newly constructed main hall which will eventually be the center stage of this temple. A series of chedi were ready for "occupancy" at its side. The secondary veneaa at the side is, I think an interim structure during the phase of restoration and would become a reception to service the public in the future. The monks here are all catching up with telecommunications and hand phones are not un popular tool for the younger monks. Below, is the old entrance of this temple, and at a remote corner, an abandoned small structure serves as a convenient rest place for the homeless - hopefully they will not be occupying the main venue as with what happened with teh unpleasnt scene witnessed at Sraa Chok Pagoda.
