199A, 188A, 177A, 166A, 155A, 133A, 577G, 533G Electronic Flash AE Flash sets camera to 1/60 and aperture referred by Aperture Selector on flash. Exposure controlled by light sensor in the flash unit. 199A, 577G,533G: Aperture Selector to red, green or yellow. AUTO-MANU. 1 /60 - 30 sec to AUTO. 188A, 177A 166A, 155A, 133A, aperture selector set to red or green.

FD lens to 'A'. Mode Selector switch to Av or Tv. AT Dial turn away from 'B'.




''  indicates flash ready. Aperture readout flashes to indicate incorrect settings.

199A, 577G, 533G Electronic Flash AE Camera automatically set to 1/60 when AT Dial set to 1/60 or faster. Slower shutter speed when AT Dial set from 1/30 to 30 sec. but not B. Camera aperture set automatically to value called for by Aperture Selector on flash. Flash exposure controlled by light sensor in flash. Ambient-light exposure controlled by shutter speed selection. Aperture Selector to red green or yellow. AUTO - MANU. 1/60 - 30 sec switch to MANU.

FD lens to 'A'. Mode Selector switch to Av or Tv. AT Dial turn away from 'B'.

199A, 188A, 177A, 166A, 155A, 133A, 577G, 533G Automatic Flash with manual manual aperture control. Camera automatically set to 1/60. 1/60 to 30 sec. exposure possible with 199A, 577G, 533G. You set lens aperture manually to agree with aperture called for by setting of Aperture Selector on flash - same as aperture shown in display. Flash exposure controlled by light sensor in flash. Use FL lens, FD lens not on A or FD lens with non meter-coupled accessories. 199A,577G,533G: Aperture Selector to red, green or yellow. AUTO-MANU. 1 /60-30S switch to AUTO for 1/60 to MANU. for 1/60 to 30 seconds. 188A, 177A 166A, 155A,133A: Aperture Selector to red or green. If there is no particular choice of shutter speed - it will be set to 1/60.

FD lens not on 'A', or FD lens with non-meter-coupled accessories or FL lens. Mode Switch to Tv. AT Dial below 1/60 for longer ambient-light exposure with 199A. AT Dial not on B

'' indicates lens aperture must be set manually. With FD lens, warnings same as Electronic Flash AE. With FL lens or FD lens with non-meter-coupled accessories, underexposure warning is not reliable.

199A, 188A, 177A, 166A, 155A, 577G, 533G Non Automatic Flash with manual aperture control. Camera automatically set to 1/60.1/60 to 30 sec. exposure possible with 199A. You control exposure by aperture setting. Use flash guide number calculation or flash calculator dial as reference. 199A, 577G,533G: Aperture Selector to 'M'. AUTO-MANU. 1/60 - 30 sec switch to AUTO for 1/60 to MANU. to 1/60 for 30 seconds. Disconnect 533G Sensor Unit. Speedlite 188A, 177A, 166A, 155A: Aperture Selector to MANU. or 'M'

FD lens not on 'A', or FD lens with non-meter-coupled accessories or FL lens. Mode Switch to Tv. AT Dial below 1/60 for longer ambient-light exposure with 199A. AT Dial not on 'B'.

FD lens not on 'A', or FD lens with non-meter-coupled accessories or FL lens. Mode Switch to Tv. AT Dial to 'B'.
