Older FD Macro lenses at 50 and 100mm Focal Length

 

Canon Macro Lens FD 50mm f/3.5 S.S.C.

This lens has extremely high resolving power and is used for photography at very close distance. It offers a magnification ratio to 1:2 (half life-size) with magnifications marked from 1:10 on the focusing ring.

With the use of the Extension Tube FD 25, this magnification becomes 1:1 (life-size) to 1:2 within the focusing range of 20.5 to 23.2cm.

The FD 100mm f/4 S.C. Macro allows you to shoot from a mere 45cm all the way to infinity.

It has a considerable range of professional applications and is highly effective for photographing natural world since its 100mm focal length permits it to be used sat twice the distance of a standard macro lens for the same reproduction ratio. It offers a magnification ratio to 1:2 with magnifications marked from 1:10 on the focusing ring. And with the use of the Extrension Tube FD 50, this magnification becomes 1:1 to 1:2 within a focusing range of 40 to 45cm. This is extremely purposeful for pursuing close-up photography.
