Nikon F5 Anniversary Model 1948-1998

F5 AM with 28mm f1.4.jpg

If you are a little fussy and pick on something, the F5 anniversary model comes with a corrugated box instead of presenting it in a 'traditional' wooden casing. But personally, I think it is still acceptable as the laminated corrugated box was a very nice matching gray colored textured paper with the gold hot stamping of the 'Nikon F5' on top. At least, Nikon didn't present it in a plastic casing as with the Leica's M6.

The limited Pentax Millennium 2000 SLR that based on the manual focus professional class LX body also came in a similar packing. So just seemed like everyone is cutting cost.
