Hi Leonard, I am a great fan of the Nikon F2 SLR cameras and I have many rare versions in my collection. Here is a picture of the custom made gold plated F2 I own, and you have my permission to host it on your site. I bought it from Sweden. I think it was made for a rich client, who actually used it a fair bit after the plating. Who ever made this F2 gold plated everything. eg the Strap eyelets, camera and lens mounts. What amazes me is that the camera was used by someone. I don't know who though. The Swedish Royal family ?

Note: The 50mm f1.4 Nikkor lens carries a Serial Number 4480716 which I think can be traced back to the year of manufacture.

Attached are some miniture F2s. A heavily gold plated F2, and a F2 in pewterware. The F2 Tie clip is the one worn by the reps at the launch of the F2 at September, 1971.
