So, Your role should be passive. Sad to say my Canon 20D (SN: 1931004361) attached with 17-40L F4 (SN: 00183276)was stolen on 16th Feb 2007.Someone break into my house that night,police reported made early 17th Feb,like always,waiting for investigation. Its reg chong's post. This is the same guy who cheated most of us, I can tell by his phone number and his excuses posted by chong in photomalaysia. Seems like he is using another acc number now, previously lynx Tiong's.

He gave me an excuse saying that he is being hunt down by the loan shark and requested me to pay RM3k to end his problem. Shameless guy......

WARNING!! DO NOT make any payment into these accounts: Maybank -514114225451, 111177084801(lynx Tiong), Lee Cheng Kiat - 112111391219. Mobile: 0142871238. He is a CONMAN and have cheated quite a number of people so I take this as a serious issue and I hope other will do the same. I think ftz should come out with a ban list of account number, names and hp. That at least could save some cash!

p/s: Why my warning posts at ftz has been deleted? I was trying to warn people from getting cheated.

A NOTE from the Co-maintainer: Although we dislike what we read with the occurred incident. But We have to delete your posting on the market place (FTZ) on the ground of of avoiding repetitive posts IF not, the FTZ will be simply flooded by comments/postings relating to this issue. HOwever, we have added a note and ask the concerned party(ies) to contact you for more info and/or resolve the pending issue. IF you think the case has a basis and need some basic info as evidence for lodging a polis report, we will do whatever we can to assist. But in the mean time, we also allow the seller to defend himself here if he likes to. But from a perspective of an independant observer. The SMS exchanges between buyer and seller are more useful and probably with the Police report, you may be able to seek further help from the respective phone provider(s) to retrieve the exchanged text messages.

OH.. Reminder for other FTZers IF WITHOUT PRICE AND SPEC CHANGES, please DON'T makes repetitive post(s) of the same item, once we have spotted you, we will have to exercise our right because of that specific reason). Further, we will be "INCREDIBLY SENSITIVE" with your name/email used in the future).

Thank you to Francis for highlighting this issue. I needed the item badly so I told myself to take the risk. Well, I was right... I was shocked to receive some mails from this "Lee" victims. I think that we should have a list of con-man email address, account number and other details to avoid this kind of crime to spread. Not healthy for us!

Btw, why my posts were deleted while I was just being nice and care to warn people? Where should I post it then?
