Photography in Malaysia Community Section:
Public Discussion Forum on Various Issues on Photography

Share common knowledge & exchanging experience with your views on photography. I know the original Free Trade Zone section may has some restriction imposed on its content (only Buy/Sell Stuffs), but as requests are pouring in to create another section for other subjects other than buy/disposal of equipments, so, as much as I can offer, I have used the template for other existing message boards to create another section for all of you to use. As this is a non-profitable section, so I didn't ask our programming staffs to creste a dedicated thread-like format. I am not sure if this has served its purpose but nevertheless, it is a channel for all of you to utilise to express other thoughts on photography-related issues. A few volunteers have been appointed to edit the content as it requires. You may make use of this convenience here to present your own views. Enjoy.

This site is specifically created for common usage on photographic issues. Please don't mail me other than constructive suggestions or rectifying mistakes found in this site, thank you. Since this is a non-profitable resource site - The developer of this site reserves the rights to censor or delete any inappropriate, unrelated, misleading or excessively hostile messages posted herein. If your intention is to dispose your photographic equipment(s) or its accompanying accessories or looking for a used model or any of its system components, please use the ORIGINAL FTZ section with a higher volume of traffic Free Trade Zone site instead. The Photography In Malaysia has no Guestbook on its own, because it is an integral part of the MIR site. But if you want to leave a note on your experience visiting this site, you may use the MIR's Guestbook at another new window by clicking on the Guestbook Link.

The respective Message Boards are some of the HARDEST hit section of the PIM site, if at any one time, the traffic is high - the table/content may take a while to load the data, just be patience. If it stalls, just click on the 'Reload' or 'Refresh' button on your browser menu once to re-attempt. Thank you.

Hello Folks. We has just kick started an Photo Showcase called Landmarks of Malaysia. The first project is on KLCC which you can access it by clicking here at:- KLCC Photo Showcase".

We invite submission to other fellow Malaysian (as well as foreign) photographers to participate their KLCC photos. It is of course without any financial rewards but the link will be provided. However it's only fair for the submitted pictures to go through selection process to safeguard the quality and to showcase only interesting (not neccessary on picture quality) images.

My name is Zain. Do contact me at mzabdullah AT gmail DOT com (I was appointed as editor of this section) to submit your favourite KLCC pictures as well as to give more exposure to your jealously guarded KLCC photo works. Thank You. Have a good weekend.

Hello, good day. May I ask is Mr. Kakaman also Mr. leofoo ? Anyway, as I can't locate a functional e-mail of him, so I would just use this forum to convey my sincere appreciation for all the lovely resources that you have built for all photo-bugs worldwide. The various profiles of Classic SLR series have turned into a very important web referenceon camera(s) for many of us today. I am from Vienna and has been using your site as my ultimate references for the last 5-6 years. I am a big fan of your site and has truly been enjoying all you have done so far which indirectly let me understand sometimes, oriental cultural thinking can be quite different from us here. I have just seen your pictures of Chiang Mai (from your Buddhist site) - by the way, simply fabulous photography.

I have been to Thailand several times and may be the next trip, I will divert to Kuala Lumpur to take a visit as well. Please take care of yourself but you must continue with the rest - they are important to us. Thank You and it is an honor be able to relay this to you personally via the board.

(p.s. if kakaman is not leofoo, can you pass it on to him ? Thanks in advance).

Place here is getting a little "spicy" on topic now. It is all right as they are still confined as a personal opinion. Thanks for the Suggestion, Sam. I have added a link at the bottom page of the FTZ (Original) for easy access (hope not too many people pay notice to it as normal browsing habits usually don't scrroll down that low, haha.. ). Err ... Creating a forum can be a straight forward affair, monitor & maintaining it is another...

Almost have missed this site, if not I scrill to the seond page of the FTZ. I like his idea, but this forum is not linked - my suggestion, why don't put up a link from the FTZ main page ? In gfact, I couldn't find it from the main site (PIM) either. Is it ready for public ?

Strange. "AATun" Year 2005 masih ada orang kira hal seperti ini ? Nama pun sudah tukar what else to talk about ? The only thing that has kept puzzled me is, who depends on on whom ? Konica or Minolta ? anyway, between th big C & KnM debate - hands downs. NO contest. By the way, in answering earlier question ... Konica's name is depan of Minolta - full stop ! heh heh ...peace.
