Hello - I wanted to let you know how terrific your photography site is. I have been shopping for cameras and read through your descriptions of all the Nikons before deciding to purchase a Nikon FM. Your site was an invaluable resource. And now, in learning how to use my camera, your site is again proving a great help with all its exhautive detail and illustrations. My brother is a professional photographer and the first place he told me to go to learn about cameras was your site.

I am a BIG fan of MIR. Your Modern Classic SLR camera profiles has emerged as one of the most respected web resources on related information in the Internet now. I have just visited your new CONTAX RTS Series Website, I must admit I am truly amazed with your extensive knowledge and creative web designing capability. Probably as one of the input on the Nikon FE message board summarizes it - the level of devotion and passion towards the medium is the key that has made all the difference between a good and a GREAT WEBSITE. I have your Canon site on my Favorites site as I often refer to it. You have done a tremendous job on this site. I own a Canon AE-1 Program. My wife presented it to me back when the camera first made its' appearance. I used it just for taking pictures while travelling to different ports. I still have the camera and it works just fine. I have just sent it in to a shop for professional cleaning and overhaul. Thanks again for your contribution to the world of photography.

I bought a used Canon A-1 a few years ago for one specific purpose; photographing my wife's artwork for record. I was schooled as a photographer many years ago, but never worked much in the profession, and consider myself an educated amateur. Owning the A-1 made me realize what a magnificent machine it is, and I decided to give it wider use. In short, using your site had allowed me to make intelligent choices of auxiliary lenses, and an MA motor drive, in conditions as superb as the camera. Your reworking of the motor drive operating manual, especially, has been invaluable. An excellent site in all respects. Many thanks for your efforts.
