I just acquired a Phontomic Ftn with a 50mm 1.4
The lens is nikon nikkor but not S. #2990576. The barrel has the kind of 3 rows of checkers pattern and is made of rubber. The identical camera that I had back in the day had the more familiar barrel. Is this one that I have now an earlier or later vintage... or made for another market?

To antonio d'avino. The EP on your camera means Ehrinrich Photo. This was the importer of Nikons before Nikon set up their own import company in the US. I think this was about 1973. I have two FTN's with the EP on them and two F's without.5. From : Lars (lhhansen@zi.ku.dk)

For those of you who has problems with your older Mnaual focus Nikon bodies, you can check with this Danish gentleman "Lars H Hansen" whom I think is maintaining a Nikon Repair User Group; I have forgotten his exact URL but he has a email address at: http://www.mir.com.my/rb/photography/hardwares/nikonfmount/ais_lars.htm7. I have an F36 motor drive with the cordless battery pack. The drive has stopped working. Several repair people have told me that the drive has stopped working due to a common problem with the drive, and that a part needs replacement. However, nobody seems to have the part, and, despite repeated attempts, they have not told me what the broken part is called. Does anyone know of a repair person who might be willing to undertake repairing this drive? Thanks.10. Hi i've an Nikon F body with what I think is a Photomic T, the serial number is 6736281, and the lens is a Nikkor-S Auto 1:1.4 50mm No. 532222. Could anyone give me any general information about this camera? What are the chances the light meter still works? Any recomended maintenance? Where do I find the batteries for the light meter?
