I have a friend who wants me to sell his Nikon F, Serial # 7341592. I has seen very litle use. It belonged to his son who bought it in Japan while in the navy. He was killed in an auto accident in the States early in the 1970s. I don' know to much about the Nikors, although I am a retired photographer.
I used all large format 'till I retired in the 80s. Anyway the camera has several Nikor lenses a f.1.2, a 35mm, a fancy metering system on top. Everything looks new. Shutter works fine EXCEPT the T setting. T opens but won't close unless you turn the speed ring slightly. The shutter appears perfect and works fine other wise. Would you have any suggestions as to having it repaired, where to have it done, or don't do anything, or sell as is? I understand the Nikors are now collectable and I would like to get him a fair price using ebay aution. Thanks for you time... Ed Brustle, Franklin, Pa. 814 432 5117

I am looking for a list of NAI lenses that are compatible with a Nikon F, in particular a zoom lens. Any info would be appreciated.

I recently acquired the 10.5cm f/4 Nikkor-T preset lens c.1960. I have the lens (near mint), the shade (Exc+), and the original front and rear caps for the lens. This is a very early and relatively uncommon lens for the F. It falls outside (lower number) of the serial number range that Peter Braczko lists as the range for this lens. I am interested in any known sales of such a lens in the last 2-3 years. Cole Seaborn, Cole's Cameras, Fergus Falls, MN

Also looking for a good source for Nikon F accessories? In particular, an eyepiece diopter for the FTn finder.
Also an original owners/user manual.
Thanks.
