Some Selective Digital SLRs - Message Board/Guestbook |
Whether like it or not, owners of Digital Still SLR cameras have similar problems with computer users - the hardwares tend to phased out very rapidly & replaced with new models, while the ultimate goal of a full frame 35mm format with realistic prices, older models of Digicam may present some support issues - while I hope the creation of this Message Board provide some form of relief to exiting owners as well as those who may intend to invest into one of the used units as prices are more realistic as compared to many newer models. Some of the opinion presented within the site was entirely personal and I do not wish to influence any decision prior to any potential purchases or disposal. So, this forum is intended to provide a channel for all to make use of it to present your own individual views. Lastly, we can make use of this Board to learn from each other and share experience so as to improve our skill. As I don't have much time upkeeping as well as keeping up with so many new Digital SLRs that keep streaming up from the respective manufacturers; so, as for now, just treat this website as MIR's contribution to the Network for the photographic community. Lastly, please respect ownership of various brands and AVOID touching on sensitive topics (such as my brand is better than yours...). Enjoy. As this site is specifically created for this purpose - so, please don't mail me other than constructive suggestions or rectifying mistakes found in this site, thanking you. Thought F3 fans might be interested -- the rare F3 with digital back by Kodak appears to be for sale on EBAY. Check it out, it is item number 3869617691. Try this link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3869617691
I have no connection with the seller and have no intention -- nor budget -- to buy this myself.2. From : Gary (glohlson@hotmail.com)

I am shooting with a Nikon D1x...I want to shoot indoors without a flash. I set the ISO to 800 at f2.8....yet every shot of the animal is blurry if I use the scale built into the camera. I am curious to know how I can achieve a successful indoor shot without flash. I set the speed to 60 because that is what the camera called for. Is it possible to shoot indoors without a flash with this camera. The speed should really be set at 250 at minimum; however, then the pictures are too dark. Any guidance is greatly appreciated. Hi,Thanks for the great website, I just bought a nikon D70, I was told that this is a good camera, but so far the pictures I took aren't sharp enough as compared to pictures taken using D100. I had set the settings "sharper". The pictures either in the manual or auto is soft but not sharp enough. hope anyone can give me a tip and most importantly hope nothing is wrong with the camera!!!
