Modern Classic SLRs Series :
Various Nikon camera models - Message Board/Gu
estbook

Since with the inception of Nippon Kogaku until the current Nikon Corporation - they were probably hundreds of camera models as well as million of Nikkor optics being sold thus far. It is very hard to satisfy everyone intention when each surfer coming to this Pictorial History Website (first created since 1997). Over the last few years, I have constructed quite a number of sites featuring a selective Nikon camera models (Nikon F(based on Mike Liu's previous effort, the Nikon F2 series, F3 Series, Nikon F4, NIkon F5, the digital SLR series as well as the midrange models such as Nikon FM series, FA, FE series, Nikkormat/Nikomat and the compact EM/FG/FG20 etc..). Each of these featured model has their respective Message Board to support specific owner of each camera types. However, there are a number of very good Nikon SLRs (as well as the film and/or Digital compacts wer quite exciting too. But due to various reasons, I cannot featured them one by one. This Message Board was created just for that purpose - to provide a gateway for those that were not being featured. You may use it for whatever you think suitable - questions & answers (Q&A) or just make good use of it to share experience among one another. The use of this section of the photography SITE is not confined soly for this purpose, you may also make use of it for other photographic matters. Some of the remarks presented within the pictorial history site was entirely personal and I do not wish to influence any decision prior to any potential purchases or disposal of your equipment. I'm sorry if this sounds stupid and ignorant, but i'm not very camera saavy... yet. Anways, my camera seems to be fine and in all well working order, but when I press the shutter release button, the shutter doesn't open and the camera doesn't take the picture. at first I thought it might be how I rolled the film, but upon closer inspection, I don't think so. on the little screen it has a flashing, symbol? a sign kind of, that i think has something to do with it a smaller F E E. and then after the f, a double E. I was wondering if there is an explanation for this, and if it is a simple problem that is easy to fix or if it will possibly need more proffesional help? Thanks a lot!!!

Hi - I have just bought a second hand Nikon F-301 and put 4 new batteries in it but cannot detect any life. How domyou switch it on? Does it need a film in it to come to life? I cannot see evidence of any LEDS or anytrhing with a readout in the viewfinder

TIA Grahame Hambleton

I have a Nikon N90 camera. I was taking picture with it and one day it just stopped and a little code appeared and said, "F33 or FEE". I would like to know what it means and how to remove it for I can start taking pictures again.

I found a Nikonos camera amongst my father's belongings and I believe it to be a model 1. How can I ascertain the model number. There is no model number on the camera or in the instruction manual.

Does this camera have any value today?

Any enlightenment will be appreciated.

I have loaded my F50 with new film and I keep getting a error message, 'Err' with a circle and 'min' write under the circle.

I have wasted 2 rools of film because when I take out the film, it rewinds back on.

Canyou please assist with this problem.

gabriele
