users back in 1986. As a detaching system users, you may use this site

Looking for older, manual F-1 for daughter who is in a high school b+w photography class. Am also interested in finding 50mm and 125mm lenses for it, perhaps even a flash. Nothing fancy. Just clean and working. Please write with details.

Hi, I have the chance to buy a FD 75-200mm 1:4.5 zoom for my F1 (old) but I have a couple of questions. First is how can I check that the aperture ring works? When attached to the body I see the same ammount of light with any apperture selelection. I cannot change the automatic/manual aperture lever in the objective as with my FD 85mm, does it mean that it is broken?. I need some help about using this objective.... And finally, is $200 a good price for it? Thanks.

If you want FD lenses, try keh.com. For information on other makers' lenses that are sometimes just as good or BETTER, look at http://people.smu.edu/rmonagha/third/index.html. This site is dedicated to third-party lenses. Let me give you an example. I wanted a 28 that gives NO distortion. Canons come close, but in urban architectual shots, I want no curved walls or rooflines. I read a review of a 28 f2 Kiron (the same company who made the original legendary Vivitar Series 1 lenses) and it claimed no distortion, and superb resolution. I just bought one at Adorama.com.6. I am interested in the olive F-1 you have in the post below. I had no idea there is a matching drive in green for it too. I actually know the serial numbers of green F-1s and would like it to see that yours fits the run that Canon made. Email me here or at my address above with price and particulars, please. Thanks! I have an Olive OD-F1 available. It's never had a roll of film in it. May be able to secure a matching drive and lens if sufficient interest. Please e-mail.8. From : Trisha (trishacluck@hotmail.com)

Where can I buy wide angle and telephoto lenses for my F-1 at a reasonable price? Lenses out now are auto/manual and don't fit my manual F-1.10. Bob, According to my F-1 book the Battery Magazine 12V with 8 penlight's is used when the Servo EE finder is used alone. When the EE finder is used together with the Motor Drive Unit Then the Battery Magazine 15V with 10 cells is used. When the EE finder is used in conjunction with the Motor Drive MF
It shares the power source in the MF?s grip. So it looks like the Servo EE finder has no provision for an internal battery Like the Booster T finder does, and it looks like if it is used alone it uses the Same external pack ?Battery Magazine 12V? with a different cord ?Cord 12V 2E? Booster T uses Cord 6V 2B. Jeff
