dear Brad,
We would all love a digital back for our F1 or any FD mounted camera. Unfortunately that is still a dream that is unlikely to be answered any time soon.
The only digital camera back that works on a conventional film camera is that for Leica R8 / R9.8. From : Lou Castellano (locastel@ix.netcom.com)

hello -- Looking for information about digital-film back for the New F-1, or any canon body that would accept the older manual focus L-series FD lenses.

I am writing from India. My brother's CANON NEW F-1 shutter had stopped functioning properly three years ago. On the recommendation of "the leading photography store" in town (Bangalore) it was entrusted with a camera repair shop to set the shutter right. By the time I got the camera back from them it was in a worse condition -- it had only one speed at any shutter-speed setting !!!!
After searching for almost three years I have finally found a camera repairer four weeks ago who has made the shutter work at correct speed, MECHANICALLY only, from 1/60 to 1/2000 only. He has not been able to rectify the electronics side of the shutter.
Can anyone, please, tell me how to make the shutter work mechanically and electronically at all settings ( B to 1/2000) so that I can guide the camera repairer accordingly. Please tell me where I can get spares in case you recommend any. I would very much appreciate if someone will take genuine interest in my case and help me. Thank You.
