Just recently, I found a case in my mother's storage. In it was a Canon F1 with two additional lenses, 8 filters, a professional "arm" flash system, and a shoulder harness with a large battery. I am COMPLETELY ignorant when it comes to this sort of thing, so I don't have a clue what it is worth. If anyone can give me an idea as to how much it is worth, please inform me. I haven't decided if I am gonna keep it or sell it -- I guess it all depends on its worth - :) Thanx in advance2. From : S M. (N.G.) (pix@hotmail.com)

My husband uses a Canon F-1 to take pornographic pictures of me and several of our good friends. I hope to display them on my return to Altrincham Girls' Grammar School very soon.3. From : Steve S. (ssake5@hotmail.com)

I just bought an F1 and am very pleased with its condition. I notice one thing I'd like to fix--the shutter speed indicator in the viewfinder doesn't line up exactly. You can see about half of the number in the window. Is this an expensive repair or something I can do myself? Thanks, Steve S.4. From : Odelon A. Arreola (odelon@ridgecrest.ca.us)

Thanks, for creating this site mainly for F-1 canon camera. I've been using the original canon F-1 camera since Aug of 1979 and it's still in good shape. However, it requires repair/replacement due to deep scratches on the shutter curtain. Please, provide me a camera repair shop, that could fix this problem. Thanks a lot..5. Greetings, Being a new owner of an F-1, I was concerned about getting the "right" battery with the correct voltage. I did find some replacement batteries that claim to provide 1.35 volts and have also found some places that still carry the original mercury batteries. However, despite what the literature might indicate, I purchased a 1.5v replacement battery and expected to see underexposed pictures (wouldn't a higher voltage give a higher meter reading thus causing underexposure?) I shot a roll of film with the camera and then processed the film and found there to be no problems. The negatives came out fine (to my surprise). Has anyone experienced the same thing? I'm just looking to debunk the myths about issues regarding the battery.
Cheers ! Ken7. From : michele (miki.rc@tiscali.it)
