Dear experts: I have just purchased an F3 MX4 Oxberry and
I am confused as to how the reg pins are disengaged or engaged after each trigger of the shutter.

According to the F3 Oxberry Pro 3 manual, this is automatic
when the shutter is triggered. Does the MX4 lack this feature!?

And are the controllers for the Pro 3 and MX4 too rare to find?

Best regards,
Steven

Hello - I recently purchased an F3, MD-4 and 80-200 f4. The camera has no power and I can't get the shutter to fire unless I use the manual release. I have changed the batteries but do not have access to a multi-meter to verify that the batteries are indeed good (they came from a new ~ older ~ pack from the PO).

I will clean the contact and try again, but it does not seem to function so far.

I will check here but email is the preferred method.

Thank you.

Hi,

I own an F3 that has two small things that look like eyes in the viewfinder. Any idea what these are and for what reason they are there?

Regards,

Toby

I recently purchased a Nikon F4s, F3 HP, F2 and a Nikon F. I noticed the len off the F doesn't fix on the F3, but the F3 lens fix on the Nikon F. It fits the F2 however, It's a 50mm 1.4 lens (s) I thought they all inter changed. I previously had a D100, F100 and a N6006 all others interchange OK. Why the difference? If you know email me at home please......maxhouse@cox.net

Looking for some advice. I'm working on an F3 camera that has been dropped on the hot shoe/film wind side (I'm not the one who dropped it in case that's important!). The impact bent the black plate that's in between the hot shoe contacts (and below the film wind reel), which (I think) is why the camera back release button won't move. My question is, how else can I get the back open. Or failing that, how can I remove that bent assembly without opening the back and bend it back into place. It appears to be bent about 1/16th of an inch. Like it could be bent back into place if I could access the back side of it. The rest of the camera appears to be functional, although I haven't seen what kind of pictures it takes since it got dropped.
