Hi. Does anybody know where I can get the tree coupling covers, those three metallic pieces at the bottom of the camera? I just bought my F1N and it seems as if the previous owner used it with a power winder and lost the three covers, or forgot to screw them back in.
Thanks, Juan Pablo

Joe, Speedfinder FN image is correct and not reversed in either viewing positions. Same for mechanical F-1 speedfinder. Lindy

Does anyone know if the image in the viewfinder is reversed when using the Speed Finder FN as a waist-level finder? Thanks!

Hi, I have just bought a minty Canon F-1N to upgrade from my Original EF. It looks and feels like it has barely been used both in and out. The only problem is that the meter needle does not move as it should. Most of the time it doesn't even move at all and sometimes it moves but only when it wants to. I have a new battery in it and I have tried changing the speed and f-stops. I have also tried the three metering modes. Am I doing something wrong? Is there something I need to clean or do? Help! Thanks,

Pablo

I own an old canon F1. I am trying to research focusing screens and prisms for my camera. How compatable are the new screens to the old make, if at all? I'm specifically interested in a laser screen for better visiblity at night. Is there one available for the old F1? I'm also looking for a standard prism, but ebay and KEH have none. To Hans-Joerg Ott- there is a D focusing screen with an grid screen on www.ebay.com right now 4/30/02. It's being sold out of the US. Hope that helps!

Dear Sir, I don't know if I'm in the correct site to submit my request, but perhaps you could please direct me to where I might be able to purchase aback for my F1N.Please reply either way. Thank you in advance for your time. I've read comparisons between the F3 Nikon & Canon F1N for years. There are pros & cons two both, but Ive been a Canon user since about '72 every since my brother brought home a Pellix. Since that time I've purchased an A1 and then an F1N with several accessories and wanting more, well I've got to close... Please assist me if you can. Respectfully, Neal
