I have most accessories made for both old and new F1s but am looking for two small items. I need the macrophoto hood, it looks just like a rear lens cap but is open and acts as a hood when installing the lens backwards. The second item is the lens mount converter B. Please e-Mail me if you have any of these items to sell. Thank you.

I have a Canon F1 which I have been using a lot. It has the FN motordrive and I used to have a battery which could be recharged. This battery pack does not work anymore, or at least it is inpossible to recharge it. Can this be replaced? Someone told me that I could repalce it with normal battery pack. Does someone know the answer? And where I can find this. HH

The R-button (for rewind and multiexposure) will not lock in lower position when pushed down. I have to hold the button down while rewinding the film. This is not very important. I very rarely shoot multiexposures. Nevertheless I would like all function on the camera to work as they are supposed to. I'm willing to send the camera away to get it fixed if it's not to complicated and expensive.
Does anybody have an opinion on about size of this problem?

Hi I'm looking to rationalise my camera and after trying out several different cameras I'm going to settle for another F1N AE body (I currently have a much loved and well worn F1N AE Los Angeles). Im looking for the newest body I can find and ws wondering if any one out there understood how to interpret the F1N's serial no. All the info on the web that explains canon serial no's does not seem to pertain to F1N's.

If you hve a newish F1 and AE power winder you looking to get rid of give me shout Cheers, John

I have a F-1 New and an A-1 model. Both are still in good working condition. I am their first owner. I also collected a complete set of Life Photography volumes and other amateur photograhic paraphernalia. I was an SLR photography buff with the intent to follow the growth of my kids. I really like my two system. Sometimes my wife complains that I caress my cameras and lenses more than I do her. I find film processing and developing quite expensive in my country. Now, I am tinkering digital cameras although I use the SLRs now and then.

I always thought of parting with my systems. Sometimes, I am reluctant to do so on account of the many delightful years it had served me. Whenever a buyer comes I priced my systems quite high so that the buyer will back out. My Canon systems are still with me.

Please feel free to comment on my state of mind with regards to these fine systems.
