Does anyone have the operating manuals for the EOS-630 camera or is there a place to order manuals for the camera in question?

Odezi, It is possible the shutter button operation is being hindered by the presence of some sort of foreign body eg. dirt or dust, or a tiny part is faulty. A mid-level battery reading is unlikely to have any affect on camera operation. User a high-powered blower brush or compressed air around the rim of the shutter button to see if this dislodges any foreign matter and improves operation. If nothing happens, it is best to have the camera examined at a service centre.

Good morning, I have been enjoying the use of my Canon Eos 5000 camera, but recently, I have been observing that the shutter button sometimes gets stiff: I need to press harder and repeatedly before it would allow me a snap. What could be the reason for this? This battery meter level is at the middle, should that be the cause?
Thanks.

Is there a horizontal battery pack/grip compatible with the EOS rebel SII?

Julie, It is doubtful that the 430EZ flash is compatible with the Rebel XT Digital that you have. The 430EZ (introduced in 1987) and its bigger brother, the 540EZ (1994-current), are high end flashes made specifically for the film-based EOS SLRs from 1988 onward (e.g. EOS 650, 620, 750, 850, 600/630, 100, 1000N, EOS 500/Rebel XS and the professional models 1, 1N, 1N HS, 1N RT and semi-professional EOS 5/A2). The Rebel XT Digital would be happier I think with the newer EX-series Speedlights which will permit full use of the advanced flash control capabilities of the camera and the flash. Given that the camera and the flash are obviously not matched, the use of the 430EZ Speedlight on the Rebel XT digital may have unpredictable results, and this sounds the case with your camera appearing to be "delayed" or the flash not firing. garyh

Hello, I recently purchased a used Canon 430EZ Flash and cannot figure out how to use it.

I never received a manual, but did manage to find one online, however it doesn't tell me how to actually use it. I have it mounted to my camera (Canon Digital Rebel XT) and I have put the required 4 AA batteries in it. When I turn it on and the camera on, it doesn't seem to want to flash? I have played around with the different settings on the flash and on my camera and still, no flash. My camera is also acting delayed while the flash is turned on and mounted to it. Any suggestions?

Thanks, I really appreciate any response.
