hey.. I notice this EOS site has added some photos now (by the way, great selection !) - i like it. My last visit two weeks ago weren't there yet, right ? good to see works are still flowing. I am (Thai national, staying in Seattle) still sticking on to my old EOS-1 but enjoy reading (& learning) the articles. Cheers.4. From : Notts Maid (thanksyou@comment.com)

I used to be a fan of your Canon sites on A & T series models and the great message boards you have created (extremely helpful). I skipped the entire generation of Canon AF directly to digital AF. Again, this site has given me a very good introduction to what I wish to find out from the past where I missed. THANK YOU>5. From : Rodzitz (noname@nospam.com)

I guess may be two possibilities: one is the film you used is not a DX-film type and the camera cannot recognizes the film you are using. Turn to manual film indexing. Next, you probably has accidetally set to manual index alsready.6. From : Evan (Kamboe@ozemail.com.au)

Lens work for EOS on 1992 with an EOS-1N ? NO. I have a copy of 1992 publication too, it was still shown with original EOS-1 in many of the journalist works, the development pictorial page for all Canon SLRs - it was not the EOS-1N (unless regionally, they have different versions of the Lens Works in ditribution. However, I may understand the question - because mine copy also had a black sticker which has a hot stamping "EOS-1N" where I thought the previous owner laminated on it, that is something interesting ....9. Hi! Just one last chronologic question: In this site and on the Canon camera museum, the EOS-1N is listed as being introduced in 1994. I have the 2nd edition EF Lens Work from 1992, and in the page with all Canon cameras up to 1992, it displays the EOS-1N as being introduced in this year, and there´s another picture of it on another page. I guess it´s a prototype? Thanks!10. Canon's first mass marketed Autofocus SLR camera was actually a FD-lens mount Canon T80. The interesting part is its first series of autofocus lenses called AC lens group. It comprised of three lenses 1) 50mm f/1.8 2) 35-70mm and 75-200mm zoom lenses. Very few information has been gathered for these three first phase of attempt with the three AC lenses. Recently, I met up with a collector cum client in Malaysia. He actually owned three of these sets. I took some time to take some pictures of them as archive works for this site. Just treat it as a Site Progress Update or for cross references if you require such kind of information. Here is the link points to the said Canon T80 with three FD-mount AC autofocus lenses (the primary T80 site is not affected):-
