There is no power zoom on your camera, only autofocus is powered. Your camera functions properly, as you can see, there are no buttons to control a power zoom.

Question about my Canon 75-300mm EF II zoom lens. Is the zoom ring supposed to work as auto focus or just manually? The auto focus works fine but it does not telescope automatically. Thank you for any answers.

Date stamps. I switched to Canon for it's digital bodies and bought a EOS 1 film body just in case. Now 8 years later I have a neg film job and they would like a date stamp on the prints. Can the EOS 1 do this? I've looked through an online manuel but didn't see anything.
Thanks.

For Canon users - Unless you have and EOS 1 or an EOS 3 and your camera has a problem....just pitch it and get a different camera off of eBay. It is more money wise to buy a cheap replacement that to get them fixed. I learned the hard way, don't be a fool like I am, just get a cheap replacement!!! They are ALL good cameras!!!

My very best neighbor donated her camera to me for class, she mentioned it might have issues. At first I discovered the shutter blades were offline and corrected that somehow on my own. Then the flash was not flashing. The mechanism pops up when the flash is needed but.. not flash.

Do I need a bulb and can I do this exchange myself?

Thanks in advance!
Nik

I have an EOS 1 that has been in a closed container in a clean dry environment for 6 years. The sigma aspheric 28-105 lens will not come off. It seems that whatever locking mechanism is disfunctional. Any advice?

Hello,
I've got three questions and hope anybody can help me:

- Does anybody know a manual for the Canon 480EG flashgun? It is really uncommon in Europe and I would like to know how it operates with several cameras between T90 and EOS1N/RS.

- The EOS 55 (japanese version of the EOS 50) with panoramic function ist also a very uncommon item in Europe. Is there a different use of the metering (average/partial) when you use the panoramic function? I presume it is better to use partial metering in this case.

- I've got a rare Canon/Kodak EOS DCS1. When I try to load the battery, all the segments and numbers on the back panel are blinking. A few weeks ago it worked without any problem. What kind of error is that? Heavy electronical damage or only something in the battery loading function? Does anybody know a remedy? The camera is so rare, I dont want to give it up.

Thanks a lot and kind regards,
Thomas
