Hi! Having a problem with my 1N that, hopefully, someone can help me with. The shutter will not release. When I press the shutter release button the camera focuses, then pressing the button all the way down does not release shutter. I have only just purchased this camera so I am not real familiar with its operation-but have shot several rolls of film thru it and it is great! Appreciate any feedback!
Also I noticed that the film advance line in the lcd constantly flashes-never noticed that before?!?
Thanks again----Ken2. From : Jackson L W H (nomail@donlikespam.com)

new2eos: "PBD-1"? I guess you are referring to BP-E1 (read http://www.mir.com.my/rb/photography/hardwares/classics/eos/EOS-1n/htmls/PBE1.htm) yes. it is compatible with both EOS-1N and EOS-1. It uses both AA-size batteries and a 2CR5 battery. The base unit is smaller than the high performance PDP-E1. You can see the difference via http://www.mir.com.my/rb/photography/hardwares/classics/eos/EOS-1n/htmls/PDBE1.htm By the way nice pictures (Nomenclature).3. From : Terence (sappie_rocks99@yahoo.com)

Cool site ! nice graphic and use of pictures ! I wish I can have my hand onto one of these camera (personal favorite - EOS-1N RS) - Top class photo tool for the serious photo buffs. I prefer the Canon over the the Nikon and Minolta (Konica/Mimolta's sad exceed from the business was being announced, I heard).4. From : Steve Kwan (nomailtoo@nospam.com)

Yeap. Make sense, can I add some on yours ? generally, digital imaging has its advantage in intantly reviewing your pictures. I would think high ISO is a solution too but it may degrade in picture quality. I would suggest try out ISO800 and see if the pictures comes out right. Blurry images with artistic approach can be very subjective. Nice to look at but for PR photography like family pictures may not be very acceptable (you know...).5. Steady support is important for available light shooting but even more critical is how to anticipate pausing of the action. Set your camera to a higher ASA/ISO if your lens sped is slow (most likely is the case). However, you can also try capture with a little movement; I have just browsed through the site and found these pictures are relavent in possibilities:(dancer x 2 + stage fashion show)

I have a Cannon 350 rebel digital camera. I am taking pictures of a play in a theatre where the light is not very good. What do you suggest I do to get good pictures. The pictures have to be taken without a flash. I will be about 20 feet from the stage.

Many variable factors to consider. However, one good clue is via ebay and get a comparable price indication http://search.ebay.com//search/search.dll?from=R40&satitle=EOS+1000 i always do that to get an idea, so, i would suggest you to do the same too.9. From : Joaquim (nipi_jJoaquim@hotmail.com)
