Very useful and good site, but I hav not found what I was looking for. I bought a used Command Back E1 for the EOS 1 and it came without the manual. Canon was not able to provide one. My question: Is there anyone who has a command back E1-manual and would send me a copy or pdf - it's not important wther it is in German or English. Thank's in advance.

Firstly, let me congratulate you on an amazing web resource - I make frequent visits to this mine of top quality information. My question concerns the material used in the Canon Bright Laser Matte focusing screens such as EOS-1. As the website explains in great detail, the material is a 22micron hexagonally packed lens array. I require to purchase some of this matte material (for use in astronomy) in sheet form without fresnel and most importantly without focus markings. Do you know or do you have contacts who may know how to obtain this matte material? It may be that Canon uses a third party manufacturer of the material, or there is someone who manufactures identical material? Any help in this regard is appreciated. Best, Jeff. J J Barlow8.
