EOS-1 Series is Canon's flagship camera model which uses the autofocus EF/EOS system as the backbone. The Series which comprised of the original EOS-1 has evolved to the present EOS-1v (film based) to EOS-1D (Digital based) which widely acclaimed as the most used professional camera right now at the professional user's market. Here is a common Message Board designed specifically for Canon EOS-1 Series SLR model which aims for common support and sharing mutual knowledge among users. Hope fully it will see its worth in time to come.

Similarly, for both the gentlemen who have their opretional problem with their cameras, an instruction manual is the key because they are simple issues in how-to.. search for the manual links at the main page (bottom section), if not, try the suggestion to official site(s) and see if they offer any services for immediate downloads. if you are the original owner, US site (http://opd.usa.canon.com/html/canonindex.html) may have the solution. IF not, try Euro-Canon site. Usually, they provide an online manual download section for NEWER series of EOS camera. But need to enter serial number and registered yourself first before they permit you to do so.
