I own a EOS20D camera and it is great. I bought a Speedlite 420EZ t go with it, but I have never been able to get it to work with the camera. Do I have the wrong flash for the camera? Am I supposed to be using a EX model. Is there a way to make the EZ model work?5. From : keith froussis (skydoor@btinternet.com)

KODAL DCS 520
4 yrs ago, whilst speaking to kodak UK, the rep kindly offered to test my SECOND HAND DCS520. Kodak Returned the camera, complete with test pics, EVEN a free battery. TOP SERVICE
I immediatly plugged the flash card with its adapter into the camera. Nothing. Only the symbol "bc" was blinking.
USER MANUAL. To clear "bc" remove /refit battery. If "bc" continues blinking after several attempts, the camera has undergone some type of malfunction. Take camera to kodak service centre. I stuck the camera into a draw. and forgot it.
I really cannot fathom what I did to damage the camera.
I recently discovered, "bc" blinking, warns of two senarios.
(a)(Battery low) (b)The camera's internal self test, has detected a malfunction.
I've telephoned the 2 repair centre's kodak recomend. They both said Could be anything from BALL JOINTS, to a comlete air-powered undercaraige system. AND THE COST, OH, Hmmmm, let me think. Well, ONLY £XXX, IF ITS BALL JOINTS. But a complete air opowered fingy with labou.r That's big money. But its a hell of a camera Send it in for a chargable estimate.
I would be grateful for any advice.

I have just found a non digital Canon EOS 500N that we bought our daughter for university several years ago. It's hardly used and I wonder is there any point in using film-based cameras in this digital age. It looks a super piece of equipment and I'd like to think it is worth using. I am an absolute novice in photography and would appreciate some help on this.7. From : ron (ronwesson@cox.net)

It sounds like letters FD in the name of the lens determine the type of the lens mount ( I mean the way it gets attached to ur camera) and the problem is that the EOS Rebel cameras have EF-type mount, so ur lens won't suit ur camera
you sould have bought lens with letters EF: for instance Canon 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 DO EF IS USM
