Thank goodness that I have no hair, because if I did I'd be pulling them out. I went to a boxing match and had a wonderful opportunity to photograph the match right by ring side(literally I had my camera "Canon 10D" on the mat) it was ausome. It was when I was told that photographers were not allowed to use flash while the match was on, that I freaked out. I always shoot in the AUTOMATIC mode. To be told NO FLASH sent me in a panic, let along in MANUAL. I looked at the photographs from the photographer next to me, and was astonished to see a clear and bright photos of the boxers(in this LCD) in action. I want my photos to look the that. He told me to put the dial on TV and 350. I did, but the photo in my LCD were very dark (didn't look like his) Fortunately when I put the shoots through Photo Shop (Elements) The pics brightened up, but had a Greenish look.

I have another opportunity to photograph the boxing match in 2 weeks (at ring side) How did the other photograph get his photos so clear and bright. I'm fully aware the my lenes are not the best, and that very well may be a good part of why I'm having such difficulty. Can you tell me in lay mens terms if I should shoot in P, M, TV or AV, and what a good setting could be for this type of event. I'm have to be realistic to know that what I'm asking is not easy. And after reading this letter you may just want to delete it. But thanks for reading this. But nevertheless I look forward to hear from you ALLEN

I have owned a Canon EOS 10S for 12 years. Recently the camera appears to have lost the ability to autofocus in low-light situations even when the AF assist light is used. This even occurs during daylight (clouds, no sun) when using a 70-210mm 3.5-4.5 USM lens near the 210mm range. Does anyone know what the probable cause (and perhaps solution) could be?

Thanks for any comments!

I have a Canon EOS 650. My flash attachment was stolen and I am desperately trying to replace it. Any suggestions where I can find a flash that fits? Also the cost I can expect to pay? Cornell
