EOS-1 Series is Canon's flagship camera model which uses the autofocus EF/EOS system as the backbone. The Series which comprised of the original EOS-1 has evolved to the present EOS-1v (film based) to EOS-1D (Digital based) which widely acclaimed as the most used professional camera right now at the professional user's market. Here is a common Message Board designed specifically for Canon EOS-1 Series SLR model which aims for common support and sharing mutual knowledge among users. Hope fully it will see its worth in time to come.

I own a Canon Rebel EOS G. I have been unable to locate my manual.
How do set the automatic timer? I have pressed the timer button and the timer icon appears in the info window, but the camera doesnt beep and doesnt take a photo.

Happy new year, mr. leo. Got my first EOS-1N (my first aotofocus camera, slr) via a used outlethee in H.K. Comes to about USD250-00 real bargain. But no Booster drive. I have to build a few lenses and flash system. This site is most useful to me. Thank you.10. One Shot AF will not release the shutter unless the subject is in focus. Try swicthing to AI Servo if you want to track the action. Next, you have to ensure the focusing point is within one of the five AF points too even ehen you want to use One Shot AF. I read about the section on the focusing. You probably can pick up something from there. I used to have this kind of confusion when I switched from T70 to the EOS and EOS-1N was my first AF camera. Now I am shooting with the 350D.
