Hey guys. I've been trying for ages to buy a mint used Nikon F4 to replace my rather old and unserviced current one. Problem is, I can't find any site that sells Nikon F4's, or even sells MINT Nikon F4s. Do any of you know a good Nikon F4 used retailer, or any other good site where I can buy one? Thanks so much for any help! Dean3. From : JWoods (centurywoods@yahoo.com)

Dangerous to disasemble any delicate things like the metered finder. If you insist, there are a couple of guys selling service factory manual for all kinds of cameras but most are inferior quality photocopies. A more reputable source is John craig of craigcamera.com (?). These duplicates are usually cheaper than originals, but too technical for anyone and it needs justification for the cost you piad.4. NICE website ! Perhaps even much better than the Nikonian site on F4. Very easy to navigate and the content writing is great. I thought I know my F4 well, but here I have picked up a few gimmicks. Thanks, pal, whoever you are. Best regards from UT, Helsinki.6. From : bob riddell (briddell@icdc.com)

To Eugene-re-loose finder: Is the hot shoe loose, or is it the finder? I've heard of the hot shoe becoming loose, probably from continuous use of top mounted flash units, and unless you're extra-techno I suggest you take or send to reputable service. As far as the prism housing itself, did you check the four screws that hold the rails and the three correspording screws on the slide of the dp20 itself for tightness? Good luck!
P.S. To Leo Foo: Great to see this site up and running-its been a wonderful resource for so many7. From : Eugene (grampus@prexar.com)

Hi, i have a F4s and love the camera:however, the DP 20 seems to be loose when sitting on the camera. I notice this looseness more when my SB28 is attached to the camera. I live in the boondocks of Maine and have no way to try another DP 20 on my camera body to find out if the problem is with the finder or the camera body. Has anyone had this problem before and what is the usual culprit, the finder or the rails on the camera body. For the price of a new finder I could pretty much buy another F4s. This looseness does not hinder the operation of the camera, but, it does bug me a little. If you have any ideas please email me. Thanks for your time.8. From : Terence (campof1999@hotmail.com)

A truly GREAT web resources that center on one of the Nikon modern claissc ! Your site is easy to navigate and read with nice graphical design to supplement the excellent content within. More importanly, all the views were very neutral - presenting two different perspective on the bright and negative side of the F4 camera. However, I noticed this Message Board is under utilized (unlike the rest of other Nikon boards) perhaps you should consider send the URL for indexing. Yahoo is not listed yet, but Google is. Thanks for the great presentation and hopefully I can visit a similar, high quality Nikon F5 resources in the near future. Regards, T.L.9. From : Jim. H Hansen (jimmie_n_linda@hotmail.com)

I have owned a F2A and a Nikon F3HP prior to the Nikon F4s. Many lenses and accessories. All of a sudden the digital SLR came around and looks as if the prices drops drastically for conventional SLRs. (luckily didn't invest into the F5 generation). The only complaint I have is, all my MF Nikkor lenses may not fully compatible with the digital bodies now (exposure info not shown), @#$^&$*!!. One way or another, the Japanese knows how to extend/expands their corporate profits by screezing their consumers. Okay.. just a word to summarize my visit to this malaysian site - I have bookmarked the URL and FABULOUS is all I can tell you !!!10. Ooi.. Hans, I noticed many images in your website are practically "borrowed" from leofoo's Nikon site and retouched them again, I cannot read German but I think you should give him or this site an appropriate credit. Cheers
