Mr Lars: "....You could get hold of a donating body or possibly by a new shutter from your local authorized Nikon repair place.".. has painted too muac goodwill on and behalf for Nikon ! Why would someone want to denote a dmaged Nikon camera to a Nikon service center simply because those guys tell you that they cannot repair the camera that supposedly made by them ? Next - I am from Philippines, Nikon representation here does not even want to accept and service a Nikon SLR simply based on a reason because Nikon does not keep parts anymore for all "these long discontinued" SLR cameras and in case they are damaged in their custody, they won't able to fix them !!!! What a joke.

I asked the guys at the NIkonMF group (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NikonMF). Isaac Chan could inform that the DR-3 allows the film door on the FM/FE/FA-series to be opened without dismantling the angle finder (see also http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NikonMF/message/18129)

Could someone help me with what right angle adaptors can be used with my Nikon FA and also my Nikon FE. Is it the DR-2 or DR-3

I have just recently purchased a used Nikon FA with a MD-15 motor drive and would like to obtain a copy of the operating manual. Although I also own a Nikon FE2, the FA is more complex and a manual would help.
A .PDF copy or information as to how to obtain will ber much appreciated.
