Jose - Iit seems yiou could make good use of TTL flash metering when photographing aquaries. I therefore advice you to consider an FG, FA or FE2.

I am the owner of a Nikon FA (SN# 5335561) complete black body purchased in 1984 with a Nikkor 35~135mm
Zoom 1:3.5~4.5 lense. This camera is in complete working order and in as new condition. I also have the Nikon CF-28A camera case and the Nikon CL-33S lense case also in excellent condition. I was wondering
what the proper valuation for this camera and lense should be?
Thank you in advance for sharing your insights.
Al Hoover

Hi Folks...
I picked up a used FA not long ago. At first everything seemed ok, but I've noticed what seams to be a problem. I was calibrating the meter using the sunny-f16 rule, and I noticed that when I adjust up the asa/iso dial everything is ok. But if after adjusting up I try to adjust down, the meter shows a suggested shutter speed at 1/1000sec, up from around 1/8. If I fake a roll reload, it 'seams' ok. It seams to be doing this only in the aperture priority mode, shutter priority it appears to be ok. Is there a known issue with this camera in the Aperture priority mode and adjusting the asa/iso dial after the film is advanced to 1? It also appears to happen only below 100iso, but still testing that.

Guilbaud - You could be facing a problem of LCD degradation. Read more @ http://www.smu.edu/~rmonagha/mf/lcdlife.html You might be able abnle to secure a spare LCD for your FA from one of Nikon's spare part depts.

Milke Wilde - you will attain all modes with you FA and an AI 35/2. AMP will work fine woith all genuine AI lenses or later (incl. AF but excl G-series).
