Chan - If you by CDR mean LCD, I think they will degrade fully and not just to some low level. Read more @ http://www.smu.edu/~rmonagha/mf/lcdlife.html

Are there any answers to the replace CDR screen issue ? If they age on the shelf and are no longer available from Nikon, does that equal that FA's will all be paperweights soon or do they only degrade to a lower level and then remain constant? Are there any after market sources ?

Could someone provide me with information on the Nikon FA N5005
SLR. I've recently purchased one second hand ( probably 6 to 8 years old) Where can I get an owner's manual/operation manual?
Any help greatly appreciated

Has anyone here had any experience with using a Beattie Intenscreen with their FA? I was curious as to if I need to use exposure compensation - anyone in the know?
Eric

Piter - Nikon does not state that the type 3 screens can be used in FA (they also do not state that they cannot!). Since they are brighter they would require exposure compensation. FM3A is not released yet, so we will have to wait and see. Best regards,

Has anyone heard anything about the Soligor N-2 motor drive? It's supposedly equivalenet to the Nikon MD-12. I was just wondering what experiences you all might have had or heard about with it. I currently have the oppurtunity to pick one up at a very reasonable price.
