Nikon FA - Message Board/Guestbook

In many ways, the Nikon FA brought a lot of fond memories of the old days. You may also use this message board as a guestbook. I hope this convenience provided here can be of useful to you.

Like some others whose messages I have read, I need a handgrip for the FA body. Anyone know where I can get one? Thanks, Doug

I am shooting with a Nikon D1x...I want to shoot indoors without a flash. I set the ISO to 800 at f2.8....yet every shot of the animal is blurry if I use the scale built into the camera. I am curious to know how I can achieve a successful indoor shot without flash. I set the speed to 60 because that is what the camera called for. Is it possible to shoot indoors without a flash with this camera. The speed should really be set at 250 at minimum; however, then the pictures are too dark. Any guidance is greatly appreciated.Chad

!!! Looking for the original Nikon FA hand grip !!! Hi there, recently I bought a very nice FA with the MD-15 winder. From time to time I would like to use my camera without the winder. Unfortunalty I haven't got the original small FA hand grip. I would be very happy if someone could help me or knows how or where to get one. Many thanks in advance! Sincerely, Karsten

DEVASTATED! I just dropped my Nikon FA which I ONLY just bought in mint condition. I have a hair line crack on the prism just to the right of the LCD and small 'n' (where the Nikon name is displayed)ARRRHHHH - I didn't realised the prism were a plastic build. Please help anyone? Have I stuffed up my baby? Any advice on getting her fixed (I live in Sydney)? Can you buy parts for the FAs anywhere?

I've lost the film rewind lever and fastener that rests on top of the ASA dial of my FA. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement?
